Are the GLS speakers live in-person, or via video?

GLS events are held via videocast, and this allows us to present the speaker sessions at a fraction of what it would cost you to see them in-person. Additionally it allows us to host an extensive list of leadership experts all as part of the one event. Gathering alongside a sizeable audience of your peers along with seamless technology and a wow live event with MC, expert facilitation and live band helps you to feel immersed and fully engaged in the presentations.

How do I know which speakers will be shown at each location?

The GLS 2-day event format will contain the vast majority of the promoted speaker line-up, however the GLS night and day event format will contain fewer speaker sessions due to its shorter duration. The final speaker line-up for each location will be determined during in the weeks leading up to each event. Whilst we provide extensive input and guidance as to the final recommended speaker selection, each GLS host site determines their own speaker line-up. As such, it may be difficult for us to determine the exact details of the program for each host site.

The link to download my ticket is not working. Do I need to bring a physical copy of the ticket to the venue?

Please bring the email receipt confirmation with you (electronic is fine) – as printed copies of the tickets are not necessary (if you have trouble printing). Your name will be on the registration list at the GLS site.

I can’t make it to the site on the day, can I attend the GLS at another site?

Please advise the WCANZ office by written request (via email) within 2 weeks of the GLS you are registered for in order for WCANZ to transfer your ticket. Refer to terms and conditions on website.

Are there group discounts available?

Buy 10 tickets – receive 1 ticket free (that is every 11th ticket is complimentary). When registering online simply place 11 tickets as the number of tickets to purchase and the total amount will calculate the inclusion of a free ticket.

What are the session times for the GLS?

We do not provide program details prior to the GLS as there are many factors that may influence the schedule. As we seek to encourage every delegate to experience the full GLS experience, we don’t release the speaker line-up for each GLS site. Furthermore, given we work with over six host sites, each program varies slightly we are not typically notified until the week of the event as to their final program grid.

Whilst we mandate certain consistency within the program from site to site we do allow local variation with creative elements and certain speaker selections. As such this makes it difficult to provide an exact response to this question nationwide.

Can I order my tickets over the phone?

What is the process to become a GLS host site?

Can I attend just one (first or second) day of the GLS? (Can I get a 1-day pass?)

We encourage everyone to attend the full GLS experience. There is one flat rate whether you choose to attend one or two days.

I lost my ticket

Please email Willow Creek New Zealand and we will resend you a confirmation email which has links to your ticket.

What time does the GLS start and finish for both days?

Each GLS has different times – 2 weeks out from the event a confirmation email is sent to all delegates – confirming times. Please check your spam folder if you haven’t yet received this.

I purchased the GLS Team Edition DVD but some of the speakers are missing

Only the speakers that have given us permission for their sessions to be used are included in the Team Edition DVD. Unfortunately, we are unable to contact speakers to seek permission to have access to their GLS specific talks if they are not shown on the Team Edition.

How long is the lunch break for?

Each site varies therefore we are unable to give exact timings.

Buying multiple tickets without knowing the names

Please leave your name for all tickets and you can email us at a later date to update the names for each of your tickets.

Who are the speakers for GLS?

The speaker line-up is typically revealed in March each year. Once announced, this will be listed on our website. We also update people on our database through email, so if you would like to be placed on our database, please email [email protected] and we can add you to the database to keep you up to date.

Buying tickets without knowing which host site you will attend

Register at the site where you think you’ll most likely be attending. If you do want to transfer, please let us know 2 weeks prior to the registered start date.
